of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Structural division
NOTICE IS HEREBY
GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of the Structural Division will be
held on Friday, 8 May 2026 at 6:30pm at the Chan Yat Mei Sophie Room, the
HKIE Headquarters, 9/F Island Beverley, No 1 Great George Street, Causeway
Bay, Hong Kong, for the following purposes:
1.
To receive
and confirm the Minutes of the AGM
for Session 2024/2025.
2.
To receive
and adopt the Annual Report of the Division for Session 2025/2026.
3.
To receive
and adopt the Financial Statement of the Division for Session 2025/2026.
4.
To elect
the Chairman and Ordinary Members of the
Division Committee for Session 2026/2027.
5.
To elect
the Council Member (Division) for Sessions 2026/2027 and 2027/2028.
In
case of adjournment of the AGM, members of the Division shall check on the
Institution’s website at http://www.hkie.org.hk and the Division’s
website at https://www.hkie-st.org/ of
the revised venue, time and date for the adjourned AGM.

Nominations
for Division Chairman, Ordinary Members and Council Member (Division)
Division Chairman
The
outgoing Division Committee has decided to nominate Ir Rayson WONG Wai Hung for election as the Chairman
for Session 2026/2027.
No other nomination has been received from members by the
nomination deadline.
Ordinary Members - under Clause
7.2(c) of the Division Rules
The
outgoing Division Committee has decided to opt for the maximum 14 Ordinary
Members, and five Ordinary Members in the
Committee shall retire by end of the Session, namely Ir Stanley CHAN Bong
Kwok, Ir Patrick HOU Man Wai, Ir KAN Chun Yuk, Ir Alexis LEE Chi Chuen and
Ir Rayson WONG Wai Hung.
Following
the retirement of the above Ordinary Members, there are six vacancies for the Ordinary
Members.
The
Division Committee has decided to nominate the following six candidates for the Ordinary Members for a
three-year term: Ir
Stanley CHAN Bong Kwok, Ir KAN Chun Yuk, Ir Prof DAI Jianguo, Ir Prof LIU
Siwei, Ir Franky YEUNG Lap Kei and Ir Vincent YUAN Leung Fo.
No other nomination has been received from
members by the nomination deadline.
Ordinary
Members - under Clause 7.2(d) of the Division Rules (i.e. Ordinary Members
of the Committee who are of 40 years of age or below)
Ir
Jesse CHAN Hiu Tung and Ir Emma XIAO Xingyue shall retire by end of the Session. There are two
vacancies for the Ordinary Members. The Division Committee has decided to
nominate Ir Emma XIAO Xingyue and Ir Dominic KWOK Kai Kuan for the Ordinary
Members for a three-year term.
No other nomination has been received from
members by the nomination deadline.
Council
Member (Division)
The
outgoing Division Committee has decided to nominate Ir CHIN Sai Ping for
election as Council Member (Division) for Sessions 2026/2027 and 2027/2028.
No
other nomination has been received from members by the nomination deadline.
