of the 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM) OF MANUFACTURING,
INDUSTRIAL & SYSTEMS DIVISION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 47th Annual General Meeting of the Manufacturing, Industrial & Systems Division
will be held on Thursday, 30 April 2026 at 6:30pm at Chan Yat Mei Sophie Room, the HKIE Headquarters, 9/F Island
Beverley, No 1 Great George Street, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, for the
following purposes:
1.
To receive
and confirm the Minutes of the 46th
AGM.
2.
To receive
and adopt the Annual Report of the Division for Session 2025/2026.
3.
To receive
and adopt the Financial Statement of the Division for Session 2025/2026.
4.
To elect
the Chairman and Ordinary Members of the Division Committee for Session 2026/2027.
In
case of adjournment of the AGM, members of the Division shall check on the
Institution’s website at http://www.hkie.org.hk
and the Division’s website at http://mi.hkie.org.hk
of the revised venue, time and date for the adjourned AGM.

Division Chairman
The
outgoing Division Committee has decided to nominate Ir Dr Alan CHAN Hoi Shou for election as the Chairman
for Session 2026/2027.
No
other nomination has been received from members by the nomination deadline.
Ordinary Members - under Clause
7.2(c) of the Division Rules
The
outgoing Division Committee has decided to opt for the maximum of 14 Ordinary
Members, and eight
Ordinary Members
in the Committee shall retire by end of the Session, namely Ir Dr MAK Shu Lun, Ir Peter CHOW Hin Yan, Ir Peter
CHAK Chi Kin, Ir Timothy LEE Kin Sang, Ir POON Ronstar Ferris, Ir John
CHOW Hon Kong, Ir Prof Louis F S LOCK
and Ir Kenneth PAK Chun Wai.
Following
the retirement of the above Ordinary Members, there are eight vacancies for
the Ordinary Members.
The
Division Committee has decided to nominate the following eight candidates
for the Ordinary Members for a three-year term: Ir John CHOW Hon Kong, Ir Prof Louis F S LOCK, Ir Kenneth PAK Chun Wai, Ir Aaron SUN Shilong, Ir Sidney WONG Wing Fai, Ir Dr CHEUNG Hoi Hoi, Ir Camilla
YAU Ngan Ping and Ir
Dr Kelvin PUN Po Leung.
No
other nomination has been received from members by the nomination deadline.
Ordinary Members - under
Clause 7.2(d) of the Division Rules (i.e. Ordinary Members of the Committee
who are of 40 years of age or below)
Ir Michelle NG Tsz Wing and Ir Jack LI Ka Ho shall
retire by end of the Session. There are two
vacancies for the Ordinary Members. The
Division Committee has decided to nominate Ir Dixon PANG Yik Man and Ir
POON Ronstar Ferris for the Ordinary Members for a three-year term.
No
