Twenty nine years’ experience affirms that stability and solidarity, reform and innovation, vision and action are essential to sustainable growth. The World of Engineering Wonders
Hoover Dam
Hoover Dam is a marvel of engineering located on the Colorado River between Arizona and Nevada. Completed in 1936, this massive structure stands at 726 feet tall and provides hydroelectric power to millions of people in the United States. It took over 5 years to build and required innovative engineering techniques to overcome the challenges of building in such a remote and rugged location.
