The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers ("the HKIE") Job Forum and the services rendered therein are provided solely for members of the HKIE who are currently unemployed to put up their personal information for the purpose of seeking employment and for users seeking potential employees.

Members using this posting service should be in employment but currently "unemployed" and the HKIE should be notified of any changes to this status and that information so provided will be removed from the Forum. Posting on the Job Forum will only be arranged upon written requests from members on the basis of an "honour system" by completing and submitting to the HKIE the Job Forum Form. Information so provided will be posted on an "as is" and "as available" basis and the period for each posting will be for three months only. The HKIE shall not be responsible or be held liable in any way, if any employer or third party use the personal data posted for any other use other than for obtaining potential employees and any consequence of the posting would be at members' own risk.

All personal information posted on this Job Forum are the sole responsibility of the member from which such content originated and is for reference only. The HKIE accepts no responsibility for the content of any information provided by each individual member and the use of such services are at users' sole risk. Whilst the HKIE endeavours to ensure the editorial accuracy of the information provided by members for the Job Forum, no express or implied warranty is given by the HKIE as to the accuracy of the information or that the information posted will be timely, secure or error free.

Users understand and agree that any material and/or data downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the Job Forum service is done at their own discretion and risk. The HKIE is not responsible for users' computer system or loss of data that results from the browse or download of such material and/or data. In no event shall the HKIE, in so far as permitted by law, have any legal liability or responsibility (including limited for negligence) for any loss (including disruption or loss of any business or any other consequential loss), damage or injury which may result, directly or indirectly, from the supply or the use of or inability to use the information posted in the Job Forum, or any material contained in it, or from any action or decision taken as a result of using this Forum or any such material.

The HKIE reserves the right to modify or discontinue, at any time, this Job Forum service, or any portion thereof, or any terms and conditions provided herein and the HKIE shall not be liable to members or any third party should the Institution exercise such right. Your continuous access and use of the Job Forum service will constitute your acceptance of all changes and the terms and conditions in respect of the service will be binding upon you.
