Electronics Division, one of the 16 divisions in the HKIE, is responsible for the organisation of various learned society activities related to the electronics engineering in order to promote the advancement and exchange of information and ideas among members and other societies. These include open forums, technical visits, seminars, workshops, exhibitions and symposia. It also assists the Institution in the publication of related technical papers and journals; commenting on draft policy papers under consultation and relating to the electronics engineering issued by statutory bodies; advising on related subjects which are of public interest; and promoting the public standing and image of electronics engineers.
