| Materials Discipline Advisory Panel Report 2007/2008 |
The Panel has dealt with a few cases of application to membership of the Materials Discipline in the past year, including cases with non-engineering degrees. In an effort to promote the Materials Discipline to the general public, the Chairman and some other members explained the relevance of Materials Engineering to the community in an interview with the South China Morning Post (SCMP). The article was published in the SCMP on 10 November 2007.
The Panel will continue to encourage students and graduates of the Materials Engineering Programme at City University of Hong Kong to join the HKIE.
