The CSCE is a learned society intended to develop
and maintain high standards of civil engineering
practice in Canada and among its members worldwide.
It also endeavours to enhance the public image
of the civil engineering profession.
The
Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE)
As a professional licensing body, the HKIE sets
standards for training and admission of engineers
and has strict rules governing the conduct of
its members. As a learned society, the HKIE enables
its members to keep abreast of the latest developments
in engineering.
