Professional Background:

Ralph Keeble is a Chartered Civil Engineer with 29 yrs experience in the waste management industry, working predominantly for international waste companies and consultants.

For the past 5 years, since returning from Hong Kong where he was employed by SITA Asia Pacific, he has worked for UK consultancies on the development of major waste management infrastructure projects. He has also been heavily involved in the technical and commercial aspects of due diligences associated with some of the large corporate acquisitions in the UK waste management industry.

Ralph commenced his career in 1979 with Cleanaway UK where he was responsible for the closure, restoration and after-care of 12 co-disposal landfills. He has maintained this interest in landfill and was involved in the government/industry group that debated the role of sustainable landfill within the UK's overall integrated waste management system. However, during the past 10 years his project management role has been more on the long-term design, planning, EIA and public consultation for major waste treatment projects involving MBT and EfW.

Ralph spent 10 years with SITA working in Paris, London and Hong Kong, and prior to that was with BFI where he assisted with most of the landfill and transfer station tenders in Hong Kong.
