Abstract Submission

Submission of Abstract

Papers in related to the following topic areas are invited for presentations. Oral presentations will be selected among the submitted abstracts.

• Weather forecast technology
• Mobile TV entertainment
• Social network applications
• Information technology for food safety and traceability
• Information technology for food production
• Building information model (BIM)
• GPS – positioning and tracking technologies
• Automatic train control
• IT for security services
• Cloud computing and its security
• Data centre design, maintenance and operation
• Mobile computing
• Green computing

Prospective authors should submit an abstract of maximum 300 words related to the theme topics, by 24 February 2012, preferably by email to conf3@hkie.org.hk. The corresponding author should be clearly identified in all submissions, with his/her email address, fax and telephone numbers, and complete postal address included. Upon submission, the corresponding author will receive a confirmation by email.

Publications and Presentations

All full papers accepted for presentation will be published in the Conference Proceedings CD. Instruction to authors will be forwarded upon acceptance of the abstract. Presenters will be advised whether their paper has been accepted for presentation. Authors are assumed to give consent and authorise the Organisers to publish the abstract and full presentation paper, and to include them in any conference publication.

Notification on acceptance will be sent to presenter by email in March 2012
